Curly Shirley!

My mom curled Julie's hair again just
to see how she looked a year after the
first time she did it. It was so funny, she
really looked exactly the same. Julie looked
at herself in the mirror and said "Mom I look
like Michael Jackson" Of course my kid would
say that!!!

Apple Picking in Oak Glen

Last Friday Santino had no school and Daddy didn't
have to work so we headed out to Oak Glen to do some
apple picking. Once we got there we did some shopping,
and explored the little town. We weren't able to do any
apple picking because I guess they didn't have a good
crop this year. So we drove around and had lunch and
then checked out some more shops and then picked up
some apple pie, apple burritos, and turnovers for the
rode. On our way out we stopped at this old school house
that had a playground and the kids ran around having
a blast!

Pumpkin time!

It's that time again, pumpkin picking days are here.
Of course since we grew four of our own we didn't need
to buy any but we still went to Peltzer Farms with the
Tabancura's. The kids had fun running in the hay ring
posing for pictures and riding the train. The corn maze
was a little spooky for Jules! The kids always have so
much fun with Benae & Maya.

Costumes!

Every year in Sept, when it's the hottest the kids
make me get them their Halloween costumes. It's
actually better because they're on sale and so we get
first pick. This year Santino is Wolverine and Julie
will be Minnie Mouse!!!

Winter jammies!

Summer is over and at the first hint of cold weather
the kids wanted to jump into their new winter p.j.'s!
I hope the cold will stick around, but I doubt it.

End of the Summer Family Beach day!!!

Our family is forever getting together for something so
it was indeed time to have our beach day. We all met
at Oceanside and enjoyed a little sun, sand, and surf!!!
Santino enjoyed his $1 boogie board and Uncle Phil had
so much fun showing him how to use it. They had a great
time hanging out together. Everyone else just sat and
relaxed, a no hassle day. Summer is over and we are all
ready for that cool fall weather to come, yeah right like
that will happen!!!

Ashley came for a visit!!

Ashley came up to Temecula to visit us. We
decided to go out Friday night to have some
food and a few drinks. We went to The Bank
and had fun,Manny the bartender was there and he
took a liking to Ashley, now I know why they
call him "Fresh Manny"!!!!

Birthday Celebration back home!!!

This year we went to San Diego to celebrate my
birthday, we first stopped at Balboa Park. Then
we headed over to Uncle Greg's and the kids played
in Tristen's little pool and the we all get changed and
ready to go to Old Town Mexican cafe, one of our favorite
spots. It was so much fun just hanging out with my family
they are so much fun. The kids love their uncles and cousins
The food was great as usual but Jules thought the music was
a bit too loud, what can you expect their Mariachi's!!! We ended
the night by stopping by Coldstone for some ice cream. It was
a really great Birthday this year!!!
