Baseball season

So far Santino is really enjoying the current
baseball season. Right now we are on spring break
but next week it's back to work. We've been so happy
to have some of our family come up from SD to see
his games, and even his swim teacher Miss Tami came
to cheer him on, we just LOVE her!!! Santino is so
lucky to have so many people who love him.

My little monkey

Lately Santino is so happy that he finally mastered doing
the monkey bars all by himself. He only tried a
couple of times and he got it, now we can't stop
him. But the blisters are the only thing slowing
him down. Juliana just discovered those twistie
things on the playground and she's so proud of
herself, she just watched her brother once and then
did it alone.

La Jolla

We've been having a pretty fun Spring Break!
The kids have been busy. We finally got a chance
to go to Powell's Candy Shoppe in La Jolla, it
truly is a fun place to go. Sonny and Julie were
so happy to pick out a bunch of candy and as they
roamed the huge store, it's stocked with any kind
of candy you could imagine. Then they sat down in
the mini theatre in the back and watched "Charlie &
the Chocolate Factory" while they ate some yummy
Gelato. Afterwards we all walked down to Children's
Cove and watched the baby seals, Julie just loved it.
Later we cruised on down to Uncle Greg's and had a
big Carne Asada bbq, it was sooooo good. After dinner
we all walked to Golden Hill park to play, on our
return Grandma had ice cream as a suprise for the kids.
It was a great day, but then it always is in San Diego!!!

The Mets...Play ball!!!

Santino is playing T-ball now, his team
is the Mets. So far he's learning a lot and
having lots of fun. He's not a bad hitter
either. But of course his favorite part is
the snacks afterwards....

Pre-school field trip to the library.

Santino's pre-school class took a trip
to the Pauba Library. All the kids really
enjoyed visiting. All the library ladies
were happy to see their favorite little patron
and his classmates. They were given a tour of
the library and even Miss JoJo read them a fun
story, afterwards in the courtyard the kids ate
their lunch and took some silly pictures with
Miss JoJo.

San Diego Zoo!

We were so lucky to score FREE passes to
the SD Zoo. John had connections since he
use to work there, we even bumped into an
old co-worker of his and got FREE skyfari tkts too,
cool!!! Amanda,Tristan,Kyle & Uncle Greg all
met us there and we had such a fun day. It
was Julie's first time and Santino's 3rd. At
the end of the day we took the kids on the train &
merry-go-round, it was Tristan's first time to
ride them.Afterwards we headed over to Uncle Greg's
house and to eat and hang out, even uncle Phil came
to see us. What a fun day we had, we can't wait to
do another day in SD. Loves it!!!!!!

Hanging in Marks Garage

The kids love to go across the street
and play with Ruthie and Jacob, this
time after it got dark and they were
tired of riding bikes, Mark let the
kids try on all his quad gear, Santino
especially loves the helmets. Julie
likes the go-cart.
