Birthday Celebration back home!!!

This year we went to San Diego to celebrate my
birthday, we first stopped at Balboa Park. Then
we headed over to Uncle Greg's and the kids played
in Tristen's little pool and the we all get changed and
ready to go to Old Town Mexican cafe, one of our favorite
spots. It was so much fun just hanging out with my family
they are so much fun. The kids love their uncles and cousins
The food was great as usual but Jules thought the music was
a bit too loud, what can you expect their Mariachi's!!! We ended
the night by stopping by Coldstone for some ice cream. It was
a really great Birthday this year!!!

It's the Great Pumpkin Julie Brown!!!

Grandma harvested our four beautiful pumpkins!
We all couldn't believe that we got four big one's out
of one little seed. It was fun watching them grow. Now
we can't wait to carve them in just about a month!!!

Mom turns 41!!!

On Sept 4th I turned 41! We made no big
deal of it, just stayed home and relaxed with
the kids. Mom bought me some cute clothes
and my traditional Marie Callendar's German
Chocolate pie!!! The kids love the whole blowing
out the candles part!!!

Carlsbad

A few wks ago we went to Carlsbad to Uncle Michael & Aunt Kathi's timeshare.
It was a beautiful day of just lounging around, having some drinks and playing
in the pool. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back next year! Santino had fun
joining in the limbo and hula hoop contest. Julie just loved the pool as always. It
was a great day with the whole family!!!!

Girltime!!

Juliana and I had nothing to do on Sunday
so we headed to the mall for some shopping
at Sephora(her favorite store) Then we stopped
off for her slurpee and a pedicure. She was
suppose to get flowers on her toes but the lady
didn't listen and did this instead, kinda cute. It
actually matches Jule's personality, little tiger
fiesty and sassy.....

First day of Kindergarten

Santino started Kindergarten last week and was so excited to meet his teacher Mrs. LaBonte and all his classmates. I think this is going to be an exciting first year at Abby Reinke. I am looking forward to seeing how much he learns and grows. But I must say it is sad that he's getting so big...I miss my little baby. I didn't cry until Friday when John and I both took him and he waved a little goodbye and walked into his classroom.

Our first homegrown pumpkin!

This weekend we picked our very first pumpkin
from the garden. It's pretty big too! Julie loved it
so much she had to give it a smoochy! The kids
are excited everyday to check on the other's we
have three more to harvest. Can't wait to carve
them and roast the seeds Yum!!!
