"I wanna get in trouble, I want to start a fight"
Santino invited Ruthanne over to have
a water balloon fight. I sat there and filled
about 50 of them it took a while. In two
seconds the kids had busted them all and
were drenched, Santino even blasted me
in the face with one. It's fun to do, but a lot
of work. Afterwards they just sat on the
lawn and had homeade popsicles.
It's too HOT!!!!
It's starting to heat up here in Temecula
and I don't like it one bit. Yesterday the
temp reached 96 and that meant only one
thing THE POOL! In the afternoon John
and I took the kids for a quick dip, the water
was just right. Those swimming lessons with
Miss Tami sure paid off, Santino just jumped
right in, he remembered everything she taught
him last year. I'm not looking forward to the
summer heat, unless I'm sipping a Margarita
while I'm baking my skin....mmmm that sounds
divine.

Easter egg hunt
Easter Sunday was very quiet and relaxing.
The kids got up ate breakfast and went out
in the backyard for our annual egg hunt. Julie
didn't quite know what to make of it but she
caught on once she saw the candy inside the
eggs, no money this year...times are tough as
you know. Once they found their baskets they
really got excited. The Easter bunny brought
a lot of nice stuff, candy, a slinky, sticky guys,
chocolate bunnies, coloring books you name it.
After the hunt we jumped in the car and drove
down to SD. We took the kids to the Children's
Museum downtown, it was FREE. even better
eh? They really enjoyed it, it's a cool place for
kids. Then we stopped off for lunch and headed
over to Uncle Greg's to relax. It was fun to see
everyone and just be together as a family. Both
the kids love to visit Nana, Max & their uncles.
Spring Fling
Cookies for all!!!
On the day before vacation, I volunteered
in the classroom at Santino's pre-school.
We had a fun morning with a visit from Miss
Ginger from the Temecula Library. She read
some funny stories and brought each child
their very own book to take home. Afterwards
I did a cooking demonstration, the kids
helped make some very tasty Oatmeal raisin
cookies.
Santino the magnificent!!!

Baseball season
So far Santino is really enjoying the current
baseball season. Right now we are on spring break
but next week it's back to work. We've been so happy
to have some of our family come up from SD to see
his games, and even his swim teacher Miss Tami came
to cheer him on, we just LOVE her!!! Santino is so
lucky to have so many people who love him.
My little monkey
Lately Santino is so happy that he finally mastered doing
the monkey bars all by himself. He only tried a
couple of times and he got it, now we can't stop
him. But the blisters are the only thing slowing
him down. Juliana just discovered those twistie
things on the playground and she's so proud of
herself, she just watched her brother once and then
did it alone.
