Father's day!

The kids were excited to give John his Father's day
present. They picked out a shirt, he really liked it.
We just hung out at home and later went out to eat
dinner at John's choice "Fillipi's Pizza" The kids love
it there and the pizza's are great!!!! It was a very
quiet but relaxing day.

Del Mar Fair

This year we went to the fair, we hadn't gone since
Santino was 3 so we thought the kids would have fun.
We took a free double decker bus to the fairgrounds
and the kids loved sitting on the top outside. Once in
the fair we did the usual, eat, rides, eat, games, eat...
I have to say it's much too expensive but it was fun
to see the kids having a good time.

Pre-school songs

Last day of school!

Santino finished pre-school and is officially a
kindergartner! We are so happy and proud of
him. He did a great job in school and he deserves
a little vacation. I can't believe how big he's getting.
On the last day of school all the kids performed some
songs for the parents and received a little award. I
even got one for helping out in class through the year.
Afterwards all of his class went to the park and had
a little party. We brought goodie bags and the kids one
last chance to play together since they are all going to
different schools.

Closing ceremonies

I know, I know, I've been way behind with my blog.
Santino finished his first baseball season. He was so
excited to get his trophy at the closing ceremonies!

Getting ready for your last baseball game!

Last Wed Sonny had his last baseball game.
Boy was he glad!!! I guess I was glad too, being
Team Mom kept me very busy, but I have to
say it was fun at times and I made a lot of new
mom friends! After the game, Angie brought the
boys baseball cupcakes, and made them bucket
hats with baseball patches on them. I gave each
boy a home made chocolate sucker in the shape
of a baseball player with a photo of each child at
one of our games. We also made goodie bags with
Monkey Munch, Spiderman bubble gum, and Pop
Rock suckers. You just gotta love Dollar Tree!!!

Visiting Aunt Rae

Last Tuesday we drove up to Costa Mesa to see
our Tia. She is battling stomach cancer, but doing
very well and in great spirits. The kids haven't seen
her since Julie was a month old. We all had a fun time
sitting in the backyard, the kids mostly ran from all
the wasps that were nearby but it was fun. Santino
helped cousin Linda water the grass and Jules helped
clean the umbrella table. We got a treat and had some
Tommy's for lunch. The kids had a great time and really
enjoyed playing with Nikki, Sunny & all the kittens Togo,
Tinker & Mimi. We can't wait to see Linda, Ann & Tia for
our annual family picnic in June.

Yum! Who doesn't LOVE a cupcake?

Julie helped me make cupcakes for her
tea party with grandma. She enjoyed licking
the beaters more than eating any of the cupcakes!

Afternoon tea anyone?

While Sonny & Braden played Ninja's, Julie got ready for tea.
She wanted to bug the boys too much so I fixed her some
cupcakes and tea(milk). She used her Disney princess tea set
and put on her Cinderella dress. Grandma joined her for a little
snack, but somehow grandma managed to eat both cupcakes!!!
The tea didn't last long before the boys tried to crash the party,
Sonny sat for an unwanted picture, but Julie really wanted Braden
to sit next her. He was having none of that HaHa! Lack of sleep and
crabbiness set in and the little princess needed her nap.

Aren't we cool?

Thursday we had Braden over for our weekly playdate,
the boys played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They
wanted masks so grandma made some out of old rags.
Julie of course had to get into the act. She thinks Braden
is coming over to play with her. Oops, Julie's missing a
shirt!

I'm ready for summer mom let's GO!!!!!!!!

My kids are little fish, I never knew that they
would love the water as much as I did as a kid.
The summer hasn't even started and they beg
me everyday to go swimming. I guess you know
where we'll be the whole summer. Thanks to grandma,
Miss Tami's lessons sure paid off!

Lalo comes home!

A couple of weeks ago Lalo came back to SD for a visit.
Some of the girls were able to hook up at
Old Town Mexican Cafe. After some delicious
food and drinks we laughed and chatted, it was great to
catch up with everyone. Staying connected to friends you've
known since 1st grade is awesome, too bad the rest of the
gang couldn't make it, but I'm sure we'll see everyone soon
enough, we have a tight group!!! Love you guys xoxoxxoxoxo
