One beautiful Mother's Day!

Mother's day was so nice, the kids gave me
a cute card and $$$$$ to spend on whatever I
want. Can't wait to hit the mall. After breakfast
we packed up some stuff and drove to Carlsbad
to the outlet stores for a little shopping. After
that we drove over to the San Elijo area for lunch
at a place that is sort of top secret. The locals don't
want anyone knowing about his Mexican taco shop
so I won't give out the location or name. Once our
yummy lunch was complete we drove back to Carlbad
State Beach and set up in a nice little spot and the kids
took off for the water. The ocean was so refreshing and
warm, the kids had a blast swimming for a few hours.
We sat and watched the sunset and then packed up and
headed home, just another beautiful relaxing day in Southern
Cali.

Garage sales

Lately we've been on a garage sale kick. Santino
LOVES taking off on a Sat morning to do some
shopping in our own neighborhood. I must say in
this community people really sell some great stuff
cheap,cheap, cheap. I picked up Julie three dress up
Disney character outfits, (one may be used for Halloween)
She's totally into dressing up. I especially love the boots,
in a diaper with tiara. One of the sellers gave her a cute
DW doll so she cuddled up for a nap with it.

My babies are growing up too fast.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how fast
my kids are growing. Hard to believe next month
Sonny will be out of pre-school, and starting kinder
in Aug. Our Jules is becoming a fiesty little
lady and I demand that she STOP GROWING!!! What
a life I have, such wonderful memories and magnificent
babies. Mother's day always makes me think of Santino
since I know for a fact,that was the day he was conceived
back in 2003. Have a wonderful Mother's day all of you.

Goodbye Little Guy

This past week has been a hard one. Little Guy has
just not been himself lately. His heart was just not
working right and it made his poor little body shut
down. We were hoping that he would pass away peacefully
in the backyard. He seemed to just be holding on, so
my mom took him to the Dr. and she sadly had to put
down her beloved friend and companion. He will be
missed so much. My mom and Little Guy have been
inseperable since we brought him home that very first
day. I remember how he was so little he couldn't even
jump up on my bed, we always had to lift him up. We
would say "He's such a Little Guy" That's
how he got his name.Santino for some reason re-named
him Sparky, and that's what he and Jules continued to
call him.Today is very sad for us,even
though he was my mom's dog, he was a part of the family
and will be missed dearly. Goodbye Little Guy, we love you.
